It seems that we need to re-imagine the union hall as a 24/7 community center addressing all the needs of the local working class, including a local labor history archives, museum and education center. For example, at the height of UAW power in 1940s, Reuther’s Detroit home local had a library of 40,000 books. Today, Centro de Trabajadores Unidos en la in Minneapolis. Your thoughts?
