Midday Meditation: Mindfulness in Your Workday
Join us at Noon ET on Thursday, September 22 for a Midday Meditation and Mindfulness Moment. Bring calm into your day and serenity into your workweek as Susan C. Lakatos (C'81), PCC, CLC leads the group in a relaxing and stress-relieving guided meditation.

Susan will begin with a brief description of the meditation practice we will be doing, and then lead us in meditation together for approximately 20 minutes. (You will have the option to continue meditating on your own after the call concludes.) The practice is suitable for participants with any level of experience meditating, from first-timers to experienced meditators. We look forward to releasing stress and relaxing into a Moment of Mindfulness with you!


Susan C. Lakatos, PCC, CLC is a business and executive coach who combines more than two decades of business expertise with creativity and mindfulness. She has more than 25 years’ experience as a dedicated practitioner of mindfulness and meditation. Susan has lived on staff at two retreat centers, spent 6 months in India studying with a prominent guru and is formally initiated into one of the most famous lineages in the world. She teaches meditation and mindfulness and is completing the prestigious 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program of the Greater Good Science Center, Univ. of California, Berkeley, led by pre-eminent meditation instructors Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.

She is a Georgetown alumna, having graduated from both the College of Arts and Sciences with a BA and the Institute for Transformative Leadership as a Certified Executive Leadership Coach. She holds an MBA and an MA in psychology, both from Columbia University.

Susan is an Artist Member of the Whitney Museum, has been quoted across four continents as a business expert, and was invited to the White House by the President of the United States.
