Information Session: Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
Learn all about Georgetown's Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) program, offered by the Georgetown School of Continuing Studies! The TEFL program is an entry-level credential for anyone interested in teaching English as a foreign or second language, and is designed for all experience levels. You can enter the TEFL program regardless of whether or not you have prior teaching experience, and by the end of the program, you will have a teaching portfolio that demonstrates your skills and knowledge, setting you up for success to teach English as a foreign language in a variety of settings. This information session will cover the program format, requirements, application process, and opportunities for post-graduation, and will give you a chance to ask your questions about TEFL firsthand. The application deadline for the Fall 2021 cohort is August 1.
